Prices in USD, excluding tax. Billing details below.
Buy once, use anytime. 1 credit translates 1 word into 1 language. Credits expire 12 months after purchase. No subscription needed.
For Pro subscribers, unused credits roll over and can be used as overflow when you hit your monthly fair-use ceiling.
Large is a bulk pack for one-time big projects — priced slightly above Medium by design. For regular use, a Plus or Max subscription is the better value.
Payments are processed by Paddle acting as our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller on your receipt and is responsible for collecting payment and remitting taxes (VAT, GST, US sales tax, etc.) based on your billing country.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account settings, or by emailing us. Cancelling keeps Pro access until the end of the current billing period.
Refund window: 14 days, no-questions-asked. After that, refunds are handled case by case and your local consumer-protection rights (e.g. the EU 14-day right of withdrawal) always apply. Full details on the Refund Policy page.
By the word-locale: one word translated into one language counts as one. A 100-word file translated into 3 languages is 300 word-locales. You pay for the words you actually translate — adding a language only costs the words in that language, and we never charge per seat or for storing your strings.
If you translate occasionally, the free tier is enough. If you translate a small project once or twice a month, Plus is a good fit. For active multi-project work, Max saves you from watching usage. If you’re a team or power user, Ultra is the most cost-effective. A rough rule: once you’re topping up credits most months, Max is the better deal.
Unlimited for normal human localization — translating, reviewing, and re-translating your own projects. We apply quiet technical safeguards (a short-term burst limit, a generous monthly fair-use ceiling, and single-day anomaly review) to deter scraping and resale. A normal workflow will never reach them. See the Terms for details.
Try monthly first. If Localee fits your workflow, switch to yearly to save about 17% off the monthly rate. You can switch any time from your account settings.
Not for existing subscribers. If we raise prices, current subscribers stay at the rate they signed up for, and we give at least 14 days’ notice on the home page before any change.
We use a mix of leading large language models, selected per task for the best balance of speed, cost, and translation quality. The specific model is part of our infrastructure — what we expose is the result: fast, accurate, format-preserving translation with placeholders intact.
